"Let's start where you are". This is conversation I very frequently have with new and former patients every day. When faced with chronic or long term pain or illness like neuropathy or even just finding a primary care physician right now can be daunting. In overwhelm, we tend to shut down rather than taking further decisive action. Invariably, this so often turns out to be a mistake. Of course as a physician, I understand how difficult this can be.
There is however one strategy you can take it can change all this, far easier than you ever imagined.
And that is to simply start where you are. In our practice as well as the neuropathy and pain community we have served since 2008, all you need to do is ask!
